Featured “Locals Only Categories”
The New Mexico Advertising Federation is excited to continue our tradition of offering several
categories available on a local level to recognize outstanding work. While pieces entered in
these categories may also be entered elsewhere, winners in the categories below will not
advance to the regional level (where no such category exists).

Ideas that Didn't Fly: Work that was presented to the client but did not appear in market.
Judged on design and overall concept.
Best Copywriting: Will be judged on copywriting only.
Best Art Direction: Will be judged on art direction only.
Advertising Works Award: Submit a marketing plan and budget as a double page write-up,
demonstrating positive results for a client based on advertising.
Client of the Year: Submit an essay describing a project made possible by a client's
exceptional support and commitment working with the agency.
